Doctor Who: Human Nature
Best episode of the series so far! Quirky, creepy and a great cliffhanger. This is what Doctor Who is meant to be like. Although, it must be noted that this episode didn't actually include The Doctor as such.
The actors playing the boys were all well cast, and you really do hate the posh one who was body snatched. The evil sniff is brilliant.
But the downside of cliffhangers is that there's a whole week (OK, only 5 days now) to wait for the conclusion...

I think I have enjoyed this series more than you, but I agree that this was good, in a surprisingly Jon Pertwee way. I mean, much of the setting and many of the characters could have come out of one of those early 70s shows - all we need is the Master, a couple of swirling capes and a Daemon under the church. There was even a Bessie look-a-like in one shot!
(And for those who don't know who Bessie was - shame on you.)
I've been enjoying this series on the whole. Only three of the eight episodes so far have been great ('Smith & Jones', 'Lazarus Experiment' and 'Human Nature') but none of the other five have been bad. Just a bit boring in bits.
But yes, this ep was very Pertwee. And I'm really hoping they bring back the Master at some point (preferably played by Tom Baker, but that will never happen, sigh).
No shame in being too young to know who Bessie was. Just Google it for an answer...
