So it held my attention but wasn't really great. John Simm was enjoying himself though.

Various infrequent postings on the stuff going through my head. I blog about life, music, films, books, science, science fiction, tv and stuff like that here. I blog about religion, Christianity, the bible, atheism and stuff like that there. After a 9 year absence, I’m back. Maybe.

Hey Ricky, have you noticed an increasing connection to another classic Sci-Fi series of yester-year?
We have a base in the clouds, mention of angels, and of course the indestructible captain!
...all we need now are those two circles of light or a flashing scene change to "Da-da-dum de-da-da-dum!" ;-)
Yes. The cloudbase was a bit too much of a homage. But I hadn't actually connected that thought to the indestructible captain. Ooooh.
The wee shperical alien things are a bit like the Zeroids in Terrahawks too.
